Today we celebrate and recognize the rich diversity of the world’s indigenous peoples!

Pictured above are Remalyn, Christopher and their daughter, members of the Manide Tribe in Camarines Norte, Bicol in the Philippines. Christopher was recently elected into a leadership position at the Manide EcoFarm. Indigenous knowledge is vital when it comes to conserving biodiversity and sustainable use of land. The family works together to grow their own nutritious food. The EcoFarmers also sell organic produce and indigenous products like wild-harvested honey and natural handicrafts in their livelihood store.
